This November, we have the opportunity to win seats on the Michigan Supreme Court that will ensure a labor-friendly court and fairer decisions for a generation.

Labor stands with Bridget Mary McCormack for re-election to the Supreme Court. Chief Justice McCormack was first elected to the court in 2012 and she was chosen by her colleagues last year to serve as the chief justice. During her time as a judge, Chief Justice McCormack has worked tirelessly to ensure that Michigan’s Supreme Court remains independent from outside political influence, and she’s made improving access to the justice system for all Michiganders regardless of income a priority by working on the Justice for All Taskforce.

Elections for Michigan’s Supreme Court have far-reaching consequences. Justices serve 8-year terms and decide important cases that have implications on Michigan’s criminal justice system, our public education system, labor and employment laws, our environmental laws and more.
