Make sure you submit your request for an absentee ballot in time. Requests must be received by your township or city clerk no later than 5 PM the Friday before the Election. If you’re registered at your current address, you can also request an absentee voter ballot in person at your clerk’s office any time up to 4 PM on the day before your election.
