On Saturday, February 21, a group of more than twenty-five of our sisters and brothers battled frigid temperatures and came together for a Common Sense Economics training about globalization. The training, which was done as part of the labor council’s Union Community Activist Network (UCAN) training, attracted participants across sectors and from throughout the community. Participants shared powerful personal stories and collectively committed to contacting their elected officials to urge them to oppose Fast Track, some even contacting them from the meeting.
